It all started in a winery barn, filled with the aromas of fall season winemaking, in a conversation about the valuable assets we have in the people of the Washington wine industry....

But the concept of gathering together wine professionals in the common goal of education and industry development is just the latest expression of my interest in work place education and professional development.  The Washington Wine industry is growing at such a rate that newcomers are entering every week.  Much education is developed for the consumer, but it has not been until recently that providers have surfaced for the wine professional.  Meet Me In The Cellar was in the forefront of meeting this demand in 2001...

Each winery association has a wide spectrum of expertise, but all have a constant influx of new members.  All seek to better their professional knowledge base.  Offering education programs through your winery association provides cost effectiveness.
